ZhiYu Chen
CEO, Metro (Dmall)
Zhiyu Chen is a digital transformation expert, and currently served on the board of DMall, a retail tech company. Prior to DMall, Mr. Chen held several leadership positions in different industries. He started his career with Barclays Bank in London and Hong Kong as VP for Transactional FX. Subsequently, he returned to mainland China and joined the Alibaba Group as Head of Alipay International Financial Products, and later as Chief Commercial and Product Officer at AliExpress. After Alibaba, Mr. Chen joined Walmart as a Global Officer, Board Member for Walmart Hong Kong and SVP for Walmart China.
Mr. Chen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Zhejiang University, and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Oxford University.
